Well, the major purpose for this journal is just to get rid of the old one. I’m sick of seeing it on my page. BUT I suppose I have to find SOMETHING to talk about, so I’ll settle for the little electronic box that cost a little more than I would have liked.


Honestly, I haven’t played anything but Super Smash Bros. yet. It’s a great game and it’s got some really cool characters…yes, jeez, that includes Sonic and Snake. But you have to unlock them, which I found a little odd since so many were excited about them.

If you’re a sap you can unlock each character by fulfilling the silly challenges the game designers came up with. I, however, am a dirty rotten cheater. All you have to do is go into vs. mode, set the match to one life each, and walk off the edge 450 times. It took an hour or two for me to unlock every character.

As it turns out I made the right choice, because my best character is also the hardest to unlock. Wolf fights sort of like Fox would, if Fox were a more violent person. He slashes with his claws, his blaster has a blade on it, and for one of his taunts he even howls like a…well, you get it. The guy is so feral and dare-I-say-badass that he even ousts Sonic as my favorite character.



Anyways, not much has been going on besides the usual virtual distractions. Anyone have anything earth-shattering to report? I’m on so infrequently, I probably miss most of what is going on. Oh well. Hope things are going well for you guys, have fun in meatspace!*
*Truly sad, isn’t it? We are in “cyberspace” so much that we need a term to refer to the rest of the world.

...Bah! How do I work this silly journal skin?!?

Well, it’s no secret that I haven’t been uploading. That’s ‘cause I’m not back, remember? I’ve made some progress on that “ project” I’ve been working on, been playing WoW a lot…but sadly not working on The Imperfects Really, I’m sorry I’ve been so horrible with uploading and such.

But moving on to yet another frivolous topic, I happened to see the new Terminator movie. I’ve come to the conclusion that, no matter what the critics say, EVERY terminator movie EVER is going to rock harder than Def Leppard. I’ve loved all of them so much that I have trouble picking which one I like best. This one was great, partly because it had the T-600 in it (Yes, I’m geeky enough to memorize the model numbers) and whoever came up with the design earned every cent they paid him. It was sooooo cool! Man, if the game is as good as the movie…



But, really, I had a more important reason for doing another journal. It should come as little surprise that, since it’s been MONTHS since my last one, things have changed slightly. I’m out of high school and start college tomorrow. I shocked myself when I realized that I was sad to be done with high school. No matter how much I hated it there, a chapter in my life has closed. I can’t go back. This is the point when most people would say that they find it both exciting and frightening, but I don’t feel nearly as excited as I’d like to. Mostly I’m just frightened and a little sad. Jeez, if I’m this pained when I no longer have to go somewhere I hate, what’s it going to be like when I move away from home? Get a new job? Get married? Turn 40? Change is sort of frightening me

BUT(again) don’t think that I’m in a bad way or anything. Overall I feel great (just got to see a friend that I’ve not seen in years! And he doesn’t look any different at all), I am somewhat excited to go to college, and things are mostly great right now. Mark my words, give it two days and I’ll be laughing at the idea that I could ever miss high school.


So, despite a few hiccups in transitioning to college, things are going well. My pal is visiting for a while, I’m working on several great things, and I fully intend to continue The Imperfects It’s not going away until I finish it, but it’s going to take a while

Just a quick update! And no, the title doesn't refer to my God. It's a reference to my new title. Yes, that's right, I own land in Scotland and am thus allowed to legally use the title "Lord" (or "laird", I guess, if I'm feeling like it). trying to find ways of taking my full name off of the internet, so I won't say the full title

P.S. I'm STILL not dead! The project I mentioned is comming along rather well, already 5 chapters in and very excited about it!

Hey, guess who! Well, since you’ve visited this specific page, I’ll assume you don’ need to No, I’m not back. In fat I’ll probably be away for a while yet, since I’m convinced the world is out to get my computer. I’m doing more than I’d like right now as it is.

No, no stories either  I miss doing them SO MUCH, it’s making me very sad But the good news is that I’ve found something to occupy my time with. I’d rather not say too much, but if I complete it (probably won’t), it’ll be…well, way bigger than anything else I’ve ever done. Anyone wanting to draw Scott is more than welcome, but I’d like to respectfully ask that you get the design right Honestly, there probably aren’t too many that desire to do so anyway, so it’s a moot point.

Anyweird, just letting everyone know that I’m still alive and I intend to come back someday, I miss everyone loads except for Phil. Damn you, Phil…damn you…


I mean, if there really IS someone named Phil reading this, totally didn’t mean you. It was…you know, a joke…like, pick a random name that’s suitably popular and…yeah, you know…

Okay, we got the computer back, but the guy says the virus came from the internet. How, I don't know, but I'm not taking ANY more chances. It's way too expensive to fix this stupid machine, so I'm staying off the net as much as possible. I may visit (rarely and fleetingly), but other than that I'm going into hibernation until further notice.

Man, this sucks! I'll try to work on the story while I'm offline, but no promises. I really want to finish it, but I'm not putting my computer at risk any more than absolutely necessary. Bye guys, I'll visit when I can!
